Reporting multichannel microwave system

Appointment

The reporting multichannel microwave system is portable RRS which is applied to signaling of analog and digital television. On the basis of two such RRS the radio line that capable to work as in conditions of "direct visibility» (LOS), and in the conditions of direct visibility absence (NLOS) can be constructed. Transmitting RRS is placed near to the reporting camera and transmits a signal directly on reception RRS or relays a signal received from the wireless camera receiver playing a role of second RRL interval. Parallel transmitting of two channels received from two cameras is possible. The duplex mode with a video signal transmission from studio back to the operator is possible also.

The system is capable to work in any band of a spectrum in width 500 MHz within a frequencies range from 6 GHz to 23 GHz. Except analog FM modulations are applied also such types of digital modulation: COFDM, QPSK, 16QAM, 32QAM and 64QAM.

Modulation COFDM is used for the reporting in the NLOS conditions.

The system consists from external (ODU) and internal (IDU) blocks connected with each other with the help of a 75-Ohm coaxial cable. All equipment of external installation settles down on a tripod supplied with the rotary mechanism, base for fastening of radio-frequency blocks, the polarization selector (ortoplexer), an antenna parabolic reflector (mirror), an antenna feed, and replaceable radio-frequency blocks. The rotary mechanism assumes turn possibility in a horizontal plane on 360 deg., and in a vertical plane – on + / - 15 deg. On base can be placed either one or two radio components. Through outputs of the polarization selector that fixing vertical and horizontal polarization radio-frequency blocks incorporate to a feed.

The possible sizes of antenna parabolic reflectors: 60, 90 and 120 cm. The feed of Cassegrain type   has an output in the form of a round waveguide and passes signals with both polarizations.

Radio-frequency blocks placed on base have water proof execution.

On structure the radio-frequency equipment can have such combinations:

- Only one transmitter or only one receiver (a simplex variant);

- Two transmitters or two receivers (two simplex channels);

- The transmitter and the receiver (a duplex variant).

Radio-frequency blocks are mounted in immediate proximity from the antenna that losses in a waveguide were minimal. Each of radio-frequency blocks by means of coaxial cable RG216 connects to the internal block.

The main advantages of system:

- Work possibility in a simplex mode, a mode of a two-channel simplex, and in a duplex mode;

- Work possibility in a mode of "direct visibility», and in a mode of a direct visibility absence;

- Coverage by several execution letters of a wide frequencies range 6-23 GHz;

- Low input and output IF that equal 70 MHz;

- Rather small frequencies band occupied on air for a duplex variant – only 500 MHz;

- Low phase noise;

- The big P1dB power of the transmitter – 30 … 36 dBm;

- Use of ALC suitable for transmitting of digital signals;

- Low level of parasitic products;

- Low noise factor;

- Water proof execution of radio components;

- The effective selector of polarization;

- Possibility of an antenna parabolic reflector diameter variation which can have diameters of 60/90, and 120 cm;

- Possibility of several control interfaces application: RS232, RS485 and SNMP.
