ASI output board is intended for converting the parallel DVB transport stream (e.g. from OEM boards) to DVB-ASI transport stream and can be used for designing a variety of equipment for digital broadcasting. The devices, which can be used as the source of the output signal are listed below:
- DVB-S/S2 receiver;
- DVB-C/T/T2 receiver;
- MPEG-encoder;
- IP-to-DVB TS gateway.
The ASI output operating mode (packet or byte, 188 or 204 bytes per packet) follows the mode of the input parallel transport stream and the speed is not performed.
