UWMS-R is an upgraded variant of UWMS system. The same as and UWMS, UWMS-R is MVDDS interactive system with addition of gathering system that is able to collect the great volumes of video data. The system represents the broadcasting-information complex intended for work in close to LOS propagation conditions. It is capable to provide complex service (quadruple play) which includes such functions:
- Really multi-program (over 100 TV programs) TV broadcasting;
- Bi-directional data transmission for high-speed Internet;
- Voice communication services (VoIP)’
- Video information (video surveillance) gathering system.
All the functions are carried out simultaneously. The system can be launched step by step and is easily scaled. The most suitable frequency range for the system operation is Ku-band.
